Oh no, I’ve been tagged to do the poetry meme by Belinda! Apparently I forgot to tell her I gave up writing poetry years ago… lame excuses don’t count? Damn.

She’s a writer, a gamer
and an artist in one.
A jack of all trades
and a master of none.

There are few talents left
she hasn’t given a whirl.
A true 21st century
Renaissance girl

It sounds like the end of something longer, methinks, but I won’t deafen you with any more terrible Vogon verse. This is why I never wrote anything outside of forced poetry lessons in high school. I think I’ll stick with the prose for now.

But not you, randomredux nor you nounbeast; consider yourselves tagged! I don’t care if no-one will ever see the latter, I will have my poetic revenge! Mwahahahahaha (etc.)!

    Well, maybe I can’t tag anyone else, but that doesn’t excuse me from partaking in the mass-humiliation! My SUPER FUN EXCITING STORY (:OOOOOO) is so epic that it requires not one, but two limericks to portray!

    She waited alone for weeks on end
    Hoping for the return of her friend
    Others came and they went
    And some Scales — they were spent
    But the ev’nings were starting to blend

    Then one night which was unlike the rest
    As she lay asleep in her plush nest
    Her proxy flashed one time
    There came a disc of lime
    With the Nortcha Drif, the map was blessed!

      I’m still bummed I lost a couple of patch iterations with the Drif, though… hrm, maybe I did end up moving the file after all.
