So, ok.. why bother have this ranking system if they’re basically going to make up the top 10 themselves at the end anyway?
Had I not been wrapped up in my own crap of late I’d have helped you plug the listing on bookhabit, but given the attitude they seem to have towards new sign-ups voting, I don’t know if it would have achieved anything.
Are there any other sites out there that offer alternative routes for getting exposure/etc. I’ve no idea how one goes about getting “out there” with this sort of thing…

No different to anything else, really. It’s almost exclusively word-of-mouth. We just need people talking; even if those people are us. It’s all about trying to get a fanbase; the money and the agent and the publisher come later, and come on a different tack.
