Pilaf. Drool.

Oh.  My.  God.

New favourite food; basic pilaf.  Fry some finely minced onions in some butter, throw in some rice, salt and pepper, cover with stock, bring stock to the boil, turn down heat, cover rice, walk away for twenty minutes, come back and… drool.  So simple, so delicious.

    How have you gone 20 + X years and not had rice pilaf?  What have they been feeding you people in Australia?

    Of course I’ve eaten it before, I’ve just never cooked a basic version myself before. angry.png
