So, I now own a new car.

Yup.

It’s a Toyota Yaris 3-door YRS in Caribbean Blue, with window tinting (which dad bought for me, to ‘preserve the vinyl’). It’s still at the Magic Secret Box of Toyotas in the Sky, but should be arrive some time at the end of next week or the beginning of the week after. It’s a very cool car, but it wasn’t cheap (it’s one of the higher-end small cars).

It’s very cool. (And this is from someone who doesn’t even like driving, let alone cars.)

Alas it has also welcomed me to the wonderful world of the aspirational middle class debt, but I suppose these things happen. Did I mention it has a mp3 CD player?

I feel so growed up.

    … I did end up paying about $16,000 for it. It’s not like someone just gave it to me for free or anything. gasp.png

    For $16,000 I’m sure you can buy a car too.

    I guess. I’m just pissed at the fact that I can’t be arsed to save up for a car - and to keep it running. wink.png
